How to create a print-ready photo collage online.
A useful collage starts with the image arrangement, not a fixed paper preset. The free Pixemon photo collage maker includes ready-made designs and custom layouts, sizing the finished canvas from the boxes you create.
1. Plan the visual hierarchy
Choose one image to lead the composition and use smaller supporting images around it. Keep related photos close together and leave consistent gaps so the collage reads as one design.
2. Create the collage layout
Open the Pixemon editor, choose Layouts, select Add Package, and then choose Collage. Give the layout a clear name and add an image box for every photo you want to load.
Each box has an X and Y position, width, height, and optional rotation. The output sheet grows automatically to cover the complete arrangement with a consistent outer margin.
3. Load and review every photo
Select the saved collage and load a photo into each numbered slot. Check crops carefully, especially in tall or wide boxes, and make sure faces and important details remain inside the visible area.
4. Preview before exporting
Use the layout preview to inspect spacing, alignment, and the final proportions. Because the canvas is based on the actual image boxes, the preview dimensions describe the composition rather than an unrelated paper-size choice.
5. Save at print quality
Export the completed collage after every slot is filled. When printing, choose settings that preserve the image scale and avoid an additional fit-to-page reduction unless that is intentional.
Tip: Save reusable arrangements with descriptive names such as "4X6 Collage" or "Collage 8X10" so they are easy to recognize in the layout list.
